(London Sunday March 4th) Singer-songwriter, activist and iconoclast Annie Lennox tonight makes a rare public appearance at London’s prestigious Sadler’s Wells Theatre. Annie is one of the most universally renowned artists in pop music history and over the years has been awarded countless awards and accolades, including eight Brit Awards, four Grammys, four Ivor Novellos and an Academy award, as well as being named as one of The 100 Greatest Singers of All Time by Rolling Stone. In addition to her artistic achievements, she is a celebrated humanitarian and activist.
This truly special event offers the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity not only to see Annie Lennox perform, but also to hear her share fascinating stories from her life and career. Annie will be donating the entire net proceeds from the evening, with a minimum amount of £50,000, to The Circle (registered charity in England & Wales No. 1160293 and Scotland No. SC046315), the organisation she founded to change and challenge the injustices and inequality facing women and girls.
